Somewhere in Northern California

On our way to Portland for Christmas break, I walk into the bathroom and jump thinking there is a dead body in the bathtub, instead it’s a mannequin that’s supposedly been there since the 60′s when this gas station/diner on Interstate 5 first opened.

Later on I took a picture of this awesome mountain from a distance.

i was trying to look up online where this gas station was and i saw your post. I stopped by there randomly on my way to portland as well 2 years ago. I freaked out! I wish i remembered where it was exactly so I could have someone stop there and get freaked out too! :0)

You know what, I was so tired when we stopped by this diner/gas station that I don’t know and forgot to ask the name. I have some receipts from that trip…so I’ll look at them and see if I can come up with anything. I just tried to do a google search, to no avail. I’ll let you know as soon as I find out.
