Thanks to our success and following the need in the market for an honest and professional locksmith company, we expanded to servicing commercial customers as well and working all over NYC. The NY Locksmith was recently acquired and is now a part of NYC Security Systems company Linked Security.
Yonatan Yekutiel, a security expert and small business entrepreneur located in the New York City area has been partnering with Vab Media Digital Agency for the past 3 years for their web design, search optimized content development and qualified lead generation needs. He owns a few brands including Linked Security NY, Expertech USA and he recently acquired another security and locksmith servicing company and contacted Vab media Digital Agency, LLC to help redesign the company’s website.
From the new taglines, to the new visual identity, search optimized content, new graphics, and responsive designed website, Vab Media Digital Agency, LLC led development of a uniquely new brand that successfully weaves together the acquisition of The NY Locksmith company into a cohesive subsidiary organization positioned for future growth.
Some of the challenges included how competitive the locksmith and security installer industry is in NYC and Brooklyn area, with dozens of firms both large and small — to and finding the right strategy that would help them compete and be found as well as standout.
Our task was to craft an all-new brand identity system to launch which included the development of search optimized taglines, visual identity, website redesign, and deliver mobile friendly pages that would increase search rankings and encourage users to take action.
We kicked off our first strategy meeting to redefine The NY Locksmith’s service offerings, discuss keyword and competitor research, taglines, graphic design elements, brand positioning, and ways to enhance their presence on Google as a professional, efficient and reliable security system installer and locksmith firm.
The website had been previously designed in the DIY Wix website builder platform, so decided to build the new site on the WordPress Content management System, using an advanced drag and drop editor called Elementor pro, (that has 300+ Designer Made Templates, mobile responsive editing, animation features and 90+ widgets) to set up columns, buttons, and other design elements that would allow us to highlight and break up the content
We developed a layout in which we would showcase the services they wanted to come up for and used a couple of colors that were similar to the logo, and used others as highlight elements.

We redesigned the NY Locksmith website to improve the way it looked, so that there was an improved user experience on the home page to highlight their locksmith and different security services, and showcase the company’s unique value to clients.

In order to stand out and compete against larger security system integrators the company recognized that their website needed to be both visually striking and consistent in order to appeal to a broader audience.
The improved design and user experience allowed The NY Locksmith to exceed it’s SEO goals and grow page views significantly. We added WP Rocket cacheing plugin to reduce the bounce rate and provide their users (potential leads) with an enhanced experience on their landing pages. The design tool Elementor is always built with speed and performance in mind.
